The Administrator will review each new applicant’s records. Acceptable behavior is a prerequisite for enrollment. In addition to the student appraisal forms, student’s previous school records will be used as an indicator of past behavior.

Children entering kindergarten MUST be five years of age on or before July 31 of the school year. No exceptions will be made.

Students who are presently enrolled in FBCA are given first opportunity to re-enroll for the following year. Accounts must be current in order for the student to be eligible for re-enrollment. Re-enrollment must be completed and the enrollment fee for the coming year must be received before a place is reserved for the coming year.

Returning students who re-enroll before April 1 will have the $135.00 enrollment fee waived. New student enrollment fee will be reduced from $150.00 to $25.00 if the enrollment process is completed before April 1. To secure a place in the Academy, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit will be needed which will go toward tuition. Current students who enroll after April 1 will have a $135.00 non-refundable enrollment fee. New students will have a non-refundable $150.00 enrollment fee.

BOOK FEE – $175

Currently enrolled families must pay book fee by March 31, 2015.  This fee is due at the time of registration for new families.

LUNCH

Parents make deposits to their child’s lunch account. When purchases are made, debits are made to the lunch account. Deposits to the lunch account should NOT be included with monthly tuition or weekly extended care. An email will be sent weekly to inform you of your lunch account balance. Each day there are 4 lunch choices: 2 hot entree’ choices, Grab & Go sandwich or salad bar.  Each of these choices include a drink (milk or 100% fruit juice).  Lunch cost is $3.40 per tray and that includes a drink.  Milk ONLY is $.18 and Juice ONLY is $.50. When account balances exceed $30.00, students can only purchase a $1.75 sack lunch consisting of cheese sandwich, applesauce, and milk.

ELECTRONIC KEYS (E-keys)  $15 each

For security purposes the doors of our buildings are locked. A device (which requires an e-key to enter) is on the west door of the elementary building and the east door of the early childhood building. Parents who will have inside pickup or extended care MUST purchase an e-key.  The children are instructed not to open the doors for anyone – please do not motion for them to open the door. We ask parents not to allow others to enter with you.

EXTENDED CARE

Before AND After School Care    $63 per week ($12.60 per day)
This care is 6:00-8:30 a.m. AND 3:15-6:00 p.m.; this fee will be prorated if care is needed less than 5 days

Before OR After School Care      $52.50 per week ($10.50 per day)
This care is 6:00-8:30 a.m. OR 3:15-6:00 p.m.; this fee will be prorated if care is needed less than 5 days

EARLY DISMISSAL DAYS ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Children enrolled in Before AND After Care – $7.50
Children enrolled in Before OR After Care – $9.00

SNOW DAYS and DAY CARE ONLY DAYS
Only children who are regularly enrolled in extended care are eligible for attendance on Snow Days and Day Care Only days. On these days there will be an additional charge for care given during the time the children would ordinarily be in class.
Children enrolled in Before AND After Care – $15
Children enrolled in Before OR After Care – $18

EMERGENCY EXTENDED CARE
There may be a time when a parent needs childcare before or after school even though their child is not enrolled in extended care. We can accommodate this on an emergency basis. The cost for this care is high in order to discourage parents from using this service as a childcare alternative. We must know how many children we will serve in order to provide adequate staffing. That would be impossible if we allowed “drop ins”.

The following charges are per day when emergency care is needed:
Emergency Extended Care – $16 per child
Emergency Care on Day Care Only Day – $36 per child

Half Day on Day Care Only Day (not including lunch) – $20 per child
