FBCA Extra-Curricular/Enrichment Activities

Karate Class (K-6th Grade)
Students will understand the basics of Taekwondo. The class will meet once a week after school. Exact dates have not been determined, but the class will last for six to eight weeks.

Read, Right, and Run (K-5th Grade)
Read, Right and Run is an opportunity for students to read 26 books, do 26 “rights” (good deeds) and run 26 miles (25 miles from Oct-April). The final mile is run as the grand finale event with all area RRR teams running together at Forest Park.

Chess Club (4th-6th Grade)
We will be competing in the CYC school league. Competitions are held on the weekends. Practices will be held once or twice after school during the winter.

Fall Sports

Cross Country (1st-6th grade)
We will be competing in the Lutheran School League. Meets are normally after school and after school practices are usually on campus.

Girls Volleyball (3rd-6th grade)
We will be competing in the Lutheran School League or the Boys and Girls Club of O’Fallon. Practices are held after school at different locations.

Co-ed Soccer (4th-6th grade)
We will be competing in the Lutheran School League. Practices will be held after school on campus.

Winter Sports

Basketball (3rd-6th grade)
We will be competing in the Lutheran School League or the Boys and Girls Club of O’Fallon. Practices will be held after school at different locations.

Cheerleading (3rd-6th grade)
Girls will be cheering for basketball games. Practices will be held after school on campus.

Archery (4th-6th grade)
Students will be competing in the National Archery School Program of the state of Missouri. Most of the competitions will be on the weekends. Practices will be held after school at different locations.

Spring Sports

Track and Field (K-6th grade)
We will be competing in the Lutheran School League/CYC school league. Meets are normally after school and weekends. Practices are usually held after schools on campus.

Custom Language School offers after school Spanish on Mondays for all K-6 students. Custom Language School uses a curriculum designed specifically for elementary students that focuses on spoken language utilizing books, cd’s, videos and games. This allows students to progress in a similar manner as they learn English; spoken first, then written which they may pursue at middle school and high school levels. There is a monthly tuition fee and a onetime book fee to participate in this program. All fees are collected by Custom Language School PO Box 7  Cottleville, MO 63338  Phone: 636-300-9129.
