Second Grade
Ms. Burris started at FBCA in 2017. She graduated from St. Louis Christian College and received her Master’s degree from Hope International University in Fullerton, California. She has been teaching in Christian schools for the last 33 years.
Born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana, Ms. Burris moved back to the midwest from California to be closer to family. She says “It is an honor and privilege to be able to teach at FBCA. I have always viewed teaching as a ministry and a mission field. Watching children learn and grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually is rewarding.” She says her heart is truly blessed when children worship and sing praises to God. She is thankful to be able to teach God’s Word and have His Truth soak into their hearts.
