Middle School Bible Teacher
Mrs. Van Noord is from Somerset West, South Africa, which is just outside of Cape Town. Her parents have been serving in full-time ministry all of her life, and when she was 16 years old, God called her family to the United States. By that time Mrs. Van Noord had already felt Jesus leading in her life to serve Him through missions and ministry. She attended Missouri Baptist University to obtain a teaching degree. God called Mrs. Van Noord to FBCA in 2005 to teach God’s Word to students. The focus of her mission is on evangelism and discipleship of children through Bible classes in the upper grades. She says, “It is a privilege to share God’s Word with students and where possible to continue mentoring and discipling even as students move on from FBCA. I count it a joy to partner with parents in this special task.”
